Summary

The WS-PGRADE/gUSE science gateway enables the exploitation of a diverse set of DCI resources, ranging from local clusters to mainstream grid infrastructures. However, recent trends move toward cloud resource usage, allowing users to run their experiments on very specific infrastructures, in different compute models. In our talk we present the integration of WS-PGRADE/gUSE and the CloudBroker Platform, which enables the execution of scientific workflows on different types of cloud resources (Amazon EC2, IBM, OpenStack, OpenNebula) in either the SaaS or an IaaS-like model. The advantage of the integration is that science gateways customized in the SCI-BUS project can also leverage the system without notable effort.
