SUMMARY
A. M. Verlato/T.Ferrari. Check if OSG and India (Garuda) can be involved into this initiative. Structural biology has activities in OSG. The running of GROMACS in Garuda (based on GT4) is being tested. Participation of Indian (non WLCG) sites would be valuable. T. Ferrari to discuss next integration steps.

A. T.Ferrari. To determine which NGIs are willing to be a broker (starting from those participating to the testbed). This will have to be reassessed once processes are defined involving all NGIs

A. L. Gaido to propose a refined model of the three level allocation mechanism presented by NGI_PL considering that:
I- in free hand: is applicable to user communities with small amount of resources, where support can be granted without checking local policies of RPs. Possibility to withdrow should be allowed also in this case in case of specific operational issues.
II- right to revoke: RPs are granted the option to withdraw in case the proposed allocation conflicts with the local policies
III- negotiated: allows the on-demand offering of resources (elastic pool).

Note1 that the model must be applicable considering not only quantity of resources, but also quality of service: a large demand at low priority (opportunistic usage), fits model III better than model I

Note2 review of demand is desirable in I, but not justified in this model where demand is small

Note3 demands that are rejected by the reviewers should still be processable by the NGIs

Note4: thresholds for applying I, II or III must be different in each RP (e.g. NGI)

A. T. Ferrari to collect resource offers for the testbed

A. T. Ferrari to open doodle for two meetings in March

COMPCHEM currently uses 500 CPUs/day for single jobs, and uses EGI for small scale parallel jobs (2-16 processes). It is supported by IT, FR, PL, ES (about 25 sites). It partly relies on own resources (some sites are only supporting COMPCHEP) and on opportunistic usage.
