Create a new ops alarm ticket submit form which is only accessible by nominated ops alarmers. They must be registered in GGUS and will get the “ops alarmer” right. Ticket workflow (two possibilities): 1. Handle GRIDOPS* sites like all other sites in GOC DB * GRIDOPS* sites will appear under ROC "EGI.eu" * GRIDOPS* sites will show up in the notified site drop-down lists * Use emergency email from GOCDB * Notified sites will be the GRIDOPS* sites; the ROC "EGI.eu" will be informed about the ticket and is responsible for the ticket -> the tickets don't belong to the existing SUs for central services 2. Create alarms for the already existing SUs for central services * All tickets clearly mapped to the existing SUs * Use emergency email from GOCDB or keep it just in the local GGUS DB -> changing emergency email on demand Questions: 1. For which central services should an alarm be possible? Only for GOCDB, MSG, SAM and OPSPORTAL or for all GRIDOPS* sites in GOC DB? 1.1. What about MSG? There are 3 instances covered by one support unit/GRIDOPS site. 2. Will the GRIDOPS* sites all provide an emergency email in GOC DB or shall this be kept in the local GGUS DB? 3. For many of the central services we already have a support unit in GGUS. Shall the alarms be mapped to these central service SUs? 4. How about the visibility within GGUS? Shall tickets be searchable (by whom? ) via the search engine? 5. Should these tickets be accounted for the report generator?
