Printable Summary

The digital cultural heritage (DCH) community is working steadily to establish a DCH e-infrastructure that makes use of services offered by existing e-infrastructures. It becomes clear that existing e-infrastructures services are very attractive for small and medium size DCH organisations that do not wish to build an own infrastructure. A solution needs to be found to interconnect these services with the existing infrastructure of the large organisations. This said DCH also seeks collaboration with humanities research communities. Hence a much larger virtual community can be established with more opportunities to build and sustain the e-infrastucture.
