is an integral part of the open cluster management system SCMS-PRO
(http://scms.pro/, http://scms.pro/files/print/brochure.pdf )
and has been established at the end of last year in the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (BITP), who is also the BCC (Basic Coordination Centre) of the Ukrainian Grid. The presentation demonstrates the use of the SCMS-EMI as scientific gateway by cluster users of BITP in solving problems of biophysics, nano-technology, metal-physics, superconductivity via the quantum-chemical calculations, molecular dynamics, and special techniques combined with the use of EGI Grid resources. Members are scientists, professionals in their areas and SCMS-EMI allows them not to delve into the details of the operating environment of the grid-cluster.
