For the team at EGI head office this session will mean that we can actually know what is being done/not being done by partners and what we can do specifically to help. This will be driven by the partners with little to no input by the head office except during the discussion (i.e. we won’t be doing a talk unless necessary).
Attendance at this session will be open to anyone at the conference and we will be using our contacts to invite people to submit ideas for talks/discussions they would like present at a session.
Description of the work
This session would be for people involved in outreach in the grid and other eInfrastructures across Europe and further afield. This would allow new partners to discuss any issues they have come across since the start of EGI while letting more established members to also present what has worked/is working for them
The dissemination team has previously organised outreach sessions at meetings, which they have ran and decided on the content. At this year’s User Forum we would like to change this and host a more open “Birds of a Feather” (BoF) session.
