Abstract

- Who should attend?

Sysadmins willing to understand an OpenStack cloud deployment. Users curious about OpenStack.

- Prerequisites - what should I know beforehand?

Basic knowledge of Linux shell environments is sufficient. Cloud concepts are an asset but not needed.

- What do I need to bring?

A laptop with Linux operating system installed and configured for everyday use (or Windows with VirtualBox and a linux-based appliance). Since we will be using VOMS authentication to access the cloud, it is needed to have the machine configured so that a VOMS proxy can be created.
