the purpose is having all the information on the UMD product in one place and easy to access to (also machine readable)

Adrian: how the info are updated?
Bruce: the changes take into account the dependencies between the products
good to keep the products info in the products repository
there are also personal data in the cards
Matt: we may need some access control to keep this information private

proposed policy: all the UMD product should adopt this format
Vincenzo: useful to make the same presentation to the nest URT meeting
automating the process is very important (nice to have a similar thing also for the core services)

effort for Info Sys very unlikely to be included in the bid 2020-2024 in NGI_UK

Storage publishing: in discussion.

some issues with monitoring if stopping BDII, like for the SRM probes
to provide list of probes that would be affected

Kostas: what is the replacement of infosys in NGI_UK?
dewhurst: working with GOCDB devs to find a replacement
Kostas: need to find an alternative in a coordinated way


alessandro: proposing to join the efforts with WLCG, under the EOSC-hb project, to work on an alternative good for all the infrastructure.

(from the chat): in the FedCloud the information will be published using the messaging service (using the AppDB InfoSys)

it would be useful having a feedback from the NGIs about VOs/user communities using the BDII, in order to better planning an eventual moving from BDII to its alternative service
