Europe/Amsterdam
Description

Are you curious to learn more about how to use Accelerated computing in EGI Federated Cloud?

Objective of the webinar

Learn how to get access to Accelerated computing in EGI Federated Cloud.

Target audience

User communities want to use GPUs in Clouds.

Webinar programme (1h)

  • Introduction of Accelerated computing in EGI Federated Cloud (20 min)

  • Demo/tutorial (25 min)

  • Q&A (15 min)

Description of the webinar

Using GPUs to accelerate computation is demanded by many user communities, especially for applications related to image processing, machine learning and so on. This webinar gives an overview of how to use Accelerated computing in EGI Federated Cloud:

  • How to get access to Accelerated computing in EGI Federated Cloud.

  • Choosing proper sites, flavors, images and deploying VMs with GPU.

  • Running applications using GPU in EGI Federated Cloud.

  • Higher layers of accelerated computing: virtual Kubernetes cluster with GPUs, DEEP training facilities.

  • Practical tutorial/Demonstration of using GPUs in Cloud.
