Minutes - rOCCI - weekly meeting - 25.04.2013 ============================================= # Intro ## Attendance * Roll call -- Boris, Florian, Zdenek * Apologies -- Piotr ## Discussion about time limitations and deadlines * Boris will be busy over the next 3 weeks, will help as much as possible * rOCCI framework changes needed ASAP, in the next few weeks * Basic rOCCI-server implementation must be ready in 4 months # Progress reports on ongoing tasks ## rOCCI core (Florian) * Replacing parser with regexps -- some issues with Ruby 1.8.7, solution soon * Changes in core classes -- 50 % done * Action Instance impl -- 50 % done ## rOCCI client (Boris) * OCCI-OS hacks clean-up -- waiting for Florian's core changes * New interactive mode/human-readable output rendering -- planned for 4.0 * Configuration file (defaults, profiles etc.) -- planned for 4.0 ## Fog.io (Zdenek) * Exploration of features provided by Fog.io -- WIP * Fog.io backend -- WIP ## rOCCI-server directory/class structure (Maik) * Changes ready to be merged? -- No progress report ## Automated testing (Maik) * Cucumber, RSpec -- No progress report ## Mini-project wiki (Zdenek) * WIP, ready in a matter of days ## Code repositories (Boris) * Personal, Institution-wide, Central -- discuss in the ML * Too much? -- should be ok with pull requests # New tasks ## Documentation for rOCCI-server design * UML, UseCases, Class diagram? -- yes, private docs, GitHub wiki * Textual specification for wiki and FCTF discussion -- yes, EGI.eu wiki, concise ## Testbed * Centralized vs. localized? -- localized, Boris will post links to the appliance in the ML * Automated testing for rOCCI-server (RSpec, Cucumber, VCR ...) -- not discussed
