Description

This session will cover on the first part presentations on Data Management focusing on Storage solutions in the EGI infrastructure, their status and plans. In particular we will cover the status of DPM, with the support coming to an end and experiences implementing migration tools, and EOS which is currently under integration in EGI.
The second part of the session includes two security presentations, covering the evolution of the Resource Trust and the EGI Software Vulnerability Group ( SVG ) activities and plans

The main purpose of the EGI Software Vulnerability Group can be summarized as "To minimize the risk of security incidents due to software vulnerabilities."

This session will cover solutions to replace DPM with support of DPM coming to an end, for example dCache, EOS and StoRM. It will also cover experiences from communities who have migrated from DPM to other solutions.
