Information about backwards compatibility with EMI-1
Includes information about concrete release and maintenance plans for EMI-1, e.g. products that are released in both EMI-2 and EMI-1?

IGE has released IGE-1, and IGE-2 to EGI. This indicates towards an IGE policy of maintaining only one major platform/distribution version at any point in time.
Also, future directions for IGE releases will be presented.
