Amsterdam Science Park
Europe/Amsterdam timezone
The aim of the workshop is to bring together some of the European infrastructures, like EGI, EUDAT and PRACE, and user communities to discuss the requirements the latter have in sharing and using their data between different environments, which can be general infrastructures or domain specific facilities. The result of the workshop should be the definition of one or more pilot projects that will address the requirements by defining and setting up test environments using existing technologies like GridFTP, UNICORE, Globus Online, iRODS, EMI data management services, etc. On the agenda will be presentations by user communities about their requirements, presentations by the infrastructures about the facilities, followed by an open discussion to define possible pilots.
