      High-Throughput Data Analysis

EGI provides solutions to accelerate data-intensive research built through a mature service catalogue. This series of ENVRI targeted webinars will present overviews of two of the EGI solutions provided to user communities: High Throughput Data Analysis (services for data storage and processing), and the EGI Federated Cloud.

High Throughput Data Analysis: Large-scale computing, storage and the data management facilities used to handle big datasets all allow faster results and enable global collaborations. This presentation will describe the services and tools that enable users to store, access, process and analyse their data and run their computing applications in a collaborative manner using the EGI distributed infrastructure. The session is targeted primarily at new ENVRI users who are starting to use the EGI services and infrastructure but the presentation will be of value to a much wider audience - all are welcome to participate. A recording of the presentation will be made available via the EGI DocDB (searchable) and uploaded to the EGI YouTube.

About the speaker: Peter Solagna is the Operations Manager at EGI.eu and for the past 3 years has been heavily involved in the deployment of middle-ware services on the productions infrastructure.
