EPOS-EGI/EUDAT usecase

Present - Daniele Bailo (DB), Alessandro Spinuso (AS), Andre Gemünd (AG), Dejan Vitlacil (DV), Diego Scardaci (DS), Vincent Legoll (VL), Matthew Viljoen (MV) Timeline for development was discussed. Ideally we'd like to present a demo at the EGI conference, EUDAT/EGI interop. session on 7 Apr at 14h, involving gUSE orchestrating computational VMs on the EGI fedcloud to run the VERCE usecase. If this is not achievable, we will outline the development status and timeline over the next 6 months to make the EUDAT/EGI usecase in a production-ready state. Work agreed to be done: -> Strasbourg OpenStack instance to be configured after its OpenStack upgrade (VMcatcher, VOs setup etc.) (VL) -> Test the development WS-PGRADE portal with the following OCCI capability, at Strasburg: 1) instantiation of a VM, 2) contextualization of a VM, including security (public ssh key, x509 proxy certificate) and ensure that the VM has external connectivity (AS, AG) If the above works, then the development WS-PGRADE instance won't need to be upgraded and disruption for others in EPOS will be avoided. -> Attempt to instantiate the current computational VM (Ubuntu LTS based) on the EGI fedcloud with correct contextualization (DB?) If this is not possible, a new VM will need to be built from scratch using, e.g. Centos 7. Actions and ongoing work will be tracked on https://trello.com. DONM: Depending on progress of actions, we will have another meeting on 9 or 11 Mar. We will have another milestone meeting on Tue 22 Mar at 10-11h.
