====== Introduction ===============
Speaker:     Peter Solagna (EGI.eu)
===================================

storage accounting testing is proceeding well, other sites joined the testing

new scope tag for FedCloud sites, proposed modification to the certification procedure for properly flagging the sites and their services
--> no objections, modification approved

DNS automatic configuration for VMs in FedCloud

====== Feedback from the EGI CSRITs F2F meeting =====
Speaker:     Dr. Sven Gabriel (NIKHEF)
=====================================================

security trainings: defensive, offensive, forensics, what if scenario.
FedCloud SSC, SSC future developments

Peter: a malicious user can scan the network for checking vulnerabilities. How to prevent it? why don't we self-scan our FedCloud for vulnerabilities?

Sven: there is a tool that check for malicious activities starting from a sites
we don't do this scan currently, we only inform the sites about the vulnerabilities

discussion on incidents involving orchestration and contextualisation

Peter: solve the problem with reaching only 5 sites. Sven and Vincenzo to report about problems encountered.

10:30 - 10:45 WMS end of life 15'
Speaker:     Alessandro Paolini (EGI.eu)

Jerome: made a lot of training for users; without a properly training, its not easy the migration to DIRAC, maybe 6 months is not doable

we need more information before fixing a precise timeline

ACTION (EGI Operations): open tickets to NGIs/sites to get usage statistics of WMS

-- from the chat --
Bruce Becker: Have we spoken to OSG about their glide-in wms or similar ?
Bruce Becker: don't get me wrong, i'm happy to decomission the WMS, but we need that functionality
Bruce Becker: I don't think we have anyone using the WMS APIs or endpoints explicitly.
Ionut Vasile (NGI_RO): The WMS decommisioning does not affect the NGI operations?
Alessandro Paolini (EGI Foundation): yes, we spoke with glieinn-WMS developers, but a the end DIRAC was the better solution for the current activities of VOs
Bruce Becker: ok.
Bruce Becker: Where can we carry on this discussion in the longer term ?
Bruce Becker: (off topic -  I tried forum.egi.eu this morning and it gave me a dns error)
Bruce Becker: As long as we have clear alternatives I think we can communicate from the NGI down to the user communities (at least the small regional ones)
------------------

Bruce: some communities need some functionalities included in the WMS; consider also these needs.

Peter: we are not imposing dirac to anybody, we are proposing a solution replacing the WMS.
DIRAC to be proposed as a default solution to current WMS users, but other solutions coming from other communities, are possible

--- from the chat ----
Bruce Becker: ya, like we didn't impose the WMS. it's just a default
------------------------------------

Peter: once we have data from NGIs, we could schedule a dedicated meeting with NGIs and VOs for discussing how to go on.

Emir: which middleware DIRAC support?
CREAM, ARC-CE, Condor, cloud

===== Monitoring update ===========
Speaker:     Mr. Emir Imamagic (SRCE)
====================================

Uncertified sites monitoring: there is a dedicated nagios instance
the NGI/sites can go directly on this server to see the tests or submitting new ones

ARGO dev instance: runnig constantly for testing new probes
few sites selected for receiving these tests

ACTION (EGI Operations): Contact the sites in Emir's list informing them about the tests coming from the developing nagios instance

tested successfully OneData, new probe for dcache version deccomission
testing new probes for CREAM-CE, OCCI tests, Swift, WebDAV (waiting for volunteer)

ACTION (EGI Operations): propose some sites for testing the webdav probe

New FedCloud report based on the new scope tag, testing on dev instance

Vincenzo: what about the probe for comparing the virtual images list?
Emir: no news for the moment

=====IPv6 update and UMD/CMD status ======
Speaker:     Vincenzo Spinoso (INFN)
