Until when can I register?
We will close registration on September 5th 23.59 CEST. Late registrants are required to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look at availability on individual basis.
When does the conference start and end?
The official opening of the conference is on Tuesday, with a plenary starting at 12.00 CEST, followed by a lunch. The last sessio of the main conference ends on Thursday at 18.30 CEST
There are several workshops and co-located events happening on Monday and Tuesday morning, as well as on Friday (until 15.00 CEST). Although these are not part of the formal programme, you will be able to enjoy the full conference features, such as coffee breaks and lunches.
I want to register for a Kick-Off meeting but not for the main conference.
Kick-Off meetings are internal project meetings intended for project partners.The Kick-Off meetings are free of charge for participants. You should have received an invitation from your project office to register with a confirmation code. You need to enter this code in order to proceed! If you think you need to attend this meeting but did not receive a code, please contact your project office.
On the first page of the submission form, you can simply select the Kick-Off meetings you want to attend (and enter the code) and press 'continue'. You will then be allowed to register without any payment. As a lunch is included, please make sure to indicate your dietary requirements.
What are the 'codes' that appear in the registration form?
Codes release features intended for specific target groups. If you haven't received a code, they are not relevant for you and you should be able to continue your registration without them.
What do I do if I need to cancel my registration?
Free cancellation is possible up until September 5th - we will refund your fee upon deduction of an administrative fee of 40 EUR.
After September 5th, a full refund is only possible upon provision of a valid medical certificate (for example, in case of COVID-19).

Will I be able to attend virtually?
We will offer limited hybrid functionalities for people who cannot attend in person (such as live-streaming of the plenary sessions and virtual participation in some of the sessions), but, unless we are forced to cancel the in-person event, the best experience for the conference will be to attend in person.
In case of a forced cancellation related to COVID-19 outbreak or other security reasons (mandated by the Czech Government), your registration will be transferred automatically to a virtual ticket. Your conference fee will be fully reimbursed, with the exception of a 40 EUR administrative fee - which will serve as your admission fee for the virtual conference.
What is the 'Friday Workshop day' and why is it cheaper?
On Friday, we offer a series of workshops until 13.00 CEST. You will be able to select 2 consecutive workshops after selecting this ticket type. If you have any questions about the workshops, or want to change workshop after registering, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A coffee break and lunch is included.
Why are the Tuesday workshops for free and do I have to pay for the Friday ones?
Tuesday workshops (except FITSM) are included in your conference fee for Tuesday, Friday is an extra conference day.
Why do I need to pay separately for the FITSM training?
Offering FITSM Training is an EGI Service. If you follow the training, you will be able to do an exam at the end of the traing and will receive official certification.
Can I reserve a hotel room at the venue?
The hotel has reserved a number of rooms for EGI2022 delegates. You can book them via this direct link.
What social activities will be organised and how do I register?
We are happy to offer all delegates a welcoming reception on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday evening, there is a conference dinner (reserve and pay during registration). There is the option to buy an additional partner ticket for this dinner if desired.
On Thursday, there is the option to take a walking tour of the city or a brewery visit (reserve and pay during registration or at the registration desk upon arrival).
Do I need to buy a separate ticket for the social dinner?
No, you can select the ticket option 'conference with dinner'. If you want to bring a partner to the dinner, you have the option to select this further in the form in the social events (select 'for accompanying person').
I cannot select the option I want
Some of our sessions have limited capacity. If you cannot select your preferred option, please contact email@example.com before continuing your registration, we can check what your options are.
I need an invitation letter/certificate of attendance
If you need an invitation letter in order to obtain a visum, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you need a certificate of attendance, please notify the registration desk upon your arrival.
What is Whova?
Next to these webpages, we will make use of the Whova application as main event software. Whova allows you to create personal profiles, network with other delegates, indicate your presence in certain sessions, upload materials, consult background and contact details about posters and demonstrations, and follow certain sessions remotely.
During the conference, all updates and information will be in the first place distributed via Whova. Closer to the conference date, you will receive an invitation to download the app or to consult the EGI2022 Whova webpage online.
After the event, all session information will be uploaded to Indico for archival purposes.
