Description

The NGI-CH will give an overview of how High Throughput solutions can be developed using ARC.

Impact

The tutorial is intended for an audience of a bout 10.

Overview (For the conference guide)

The tutorial aims to present to end-users and software developers how to leverage the ARC programming libraries to implement High Throughput usecase on the EGI infrastructure.
Based on the experience of NGI-CH community support, we see more and more scientific usecases with large numbers of data to analyse
This is not just parameter sweep usecase, but more general High Throughput Computing.

End users need tools to efficiently address both computing and data handling when operating at large scales. The tutorial will focus on how the ARC python programming libraries can be used to get a fine grained control on the underlying grid infrastructure and optimise its use; an essential component when building high throughput solutions. Some key usecases will be considered and implemented as part of the training.
