Description
BBMRI-ERIC infrastructure strives to provide high-quality biobanking and
biomolecular resources for biomedical research in the European context. This
talk will outline the educational activities that are part of the BBMRI-ERIC
ecosystem, such as curricula to be developed in the RItrain focused on biobank
managers, courses for biobankers to be developed in Corbel project, as well as
training activities for the several types of infrastructure users in the
BBMRI-ERIC Common Service IT. Challenges, such as privacy and security issues
related to the clinical data in combination with large amounts of the available
data will be discussed, as well as applicability of the EGI infrastructure as
well as other research infrastructures for these education and training
activities.
