Description
The EGI Applications Database (AppDB) is a central service that stores
and provides to the public, information about:
- software solutions in the form of native software products and
virtual or software appliances.
- the programmers and the scientists who are involved, and
- publications derived from the registered solutions
The aim of this presentation is to highlight the EGI Applications
Database main capabilities, with regards to the software & virtual
appliances registration, management and the distribution, as well as the
on-going work about reference scientific datasets.
