The Social Events
The EGI-CF is an excellent occasion to meet friends and colleagues from all over Europe and continue to discuss about even at dinner or during a pleasant cultural event.
Being part of a Community is a chance to socialize and get into new experiences of friendships and working together.
The Local Organizing Committee has programmed two moments of socialization during the week.
Welcome Party (Tuesday, Nov. 10)
A welcome party with finger foods, wine, cheese and various cocktails to welcome all the participants will be held in the Reception Hall of the Villa Romanazzi Carducci on Tuesday, November 10th soon after the end of the last parallel session.
Guided Tour and Cocktail Party (Thursday, November 12th)
Since Bari is a city worth to be visited, the Local Organizing Committee has planned a guided tour to the most beautiful sites of the city. A nice walk around the ancient history and the modern peculiarity of the city, visiting some remarkable monuments and places that will never be forgotten.
The tour will end with a nice cocktail party in a wonderful restaurant, well known in the city for it's cookery, where some Baresan Specialties will be served in a very easy and friendly atmosphere.
All on Thursday afternoon, soon after the end of the last parallel session. Details will soon be given.

In order to enable an iCal export link, your account needs to have an API key created. This key enables other applications to access data from within Indico even when you are neither using nor logged into the Indico system yourself with the link provided. Once created, you can manage your key at any time by going to 'My Profile' and looking under the tab entitled 'HTTP API'. Further information about HTTP API keys can be found in the Indico documentation.
Additionally to having an API key associated with your account, exporting private event information requires the usage of a persistent signature. This enables API URLs which do not expire after a few minutes so while the setting is active, anyone in possession of the link provided can access the information. Due to this, it is extremely important that you keep these links private and for your use only. If you think someone else may have acquired access to a link using this key in the future, you must immediately create a new key pair on the 'My Profile' page under the 'HTTP API' and update the iCalendar links afterwards.
