What is it?
Trenitalia, the major train transport service in Italy, grants EGI2024 participants a discount code when travelling by train to Lecce.
The discount is variable and may depend on the day and type of train (up to 80% compared to the "Base" fare).
To benefit from the discount, participants must travel to Lecce between 28/09 and 04/10 and return between 30/09 and 05/10. They must also have proof of participation in the event with them onboard (this can be your eventbrite confirmation).
NB. The discount is valid on travels booked on Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, and Frecciabianca, in both First and Second Class, using the service levels Business, Premium, and Standard.
Tickets can be purchased on the Trenitalia website and app and from authorised travel agencies.
How to benefit from the discount?
On Trenitalia.com, select your travel in the search box.
When results display, check the section "See other offers"
Then, select Speciale Eventi
Add EGI24 to the box and verify the code
